On Friday Keegan and I went over to Bunker Beach. It was packed. We stood on that blacktop in the sun for 15 minutes waiting to get in. Once we got in it the water felt divine. Keegan has shrugged off his fear of the Wave Pool (we couldn't get him to set foot in the thing last year). He loved it. He loved the Wave Pool and would let the waves go right over his head and then giggle about it. He loved the adventure pool and even did a little swimming...he only swan 3-4 feet but he did it all by himself. We stayed until 1:00pm or so and then went home for a nap. When Lyle came home we went back for a couple more hours. It was a lot of fun!
Then Saturday we meet a couple friends over at Valleyfair. Had a great time there too. We were a bit worried it was going to rain but we lucked out. Keegan's favorite ride was the Monster ride, the black one with the octopus arms. It was a bit disappointing that we couldn't do any roller coasters, but we still had a great time. Then on Sunday we went to the Chinese Dragon Boat Races at Lake Phalon. This was interesting but there wasn't a ton to do there. Still we watched the boat races and then played at the park some. Again see pics below.
