First Business Trip AK (after keegan)

So right now I am sitting in the plant. Seems like I do a lot of that when I come out to the plant. That's just kind of the way it goes. The operators run the material and the QC techs test it and I sit here and make sure that people do the stuff right :-) Anyway we have been working 14 hour shifts. So yesterday I started at 6:30am and worked until 8:30pm. Right now they accidentally got a coating stuck in their 2 story oven; so they are trying to figure out how that happened.

It kind of sucks to be away for this long. Although I will only be here (White City, Oregon) from Mon to Fri. I guess I don't miss Keegan any more or less than I miss Lyle, the cats, Ruby, and my bed :-)

I've been getting updates from my mom and Lyle on how Keegan is doing. Keegan has finally started sleeping through the night in his crib, which is awesome. We were getting a bit worried that he would be sleeping in his carseat forever. Keegan also tried to grab the cell phone from Lyle while I was talking to Lyle last night. So Lyle let him hold the cell phone which Keegan then promptly dropped on the floor.

Anyway, hopefully everyone at home keeps doing well. And hopefully we will finish this run at some point. We are just over halfway done now; so I hope things keep going okay. I *really* don't want to stay out here any longer than Friday.

I guess I haven't had a lot of time to miss the little guy. I am at the plant, then I eat dinner, and go to bed. 7 hrs later I get up and come into the plant again. Anyway, I should probably go and see if any progress is being made on their oven problem.
